I have some special feelings to write on the pride of Pakistan Air Force M M Alam known as Little Dragon. His full name is Muhammad Mahmood Alam. He was born on 6 July 1935 in Calcutta, British India and died on 18 March 2013 in Karachi, Pakistan. Following few lines covers his life details in short.

Early Life of M M Alam
As I have stated above M M Alam (Muhammad Mahmood Allam) was born on 6 July 1935 in Calcutta, India. He belonged to a well educated family and was given special interests to get education. He completed his secondary education from Govt. High School, Dacca, East Pakistan in 1951. He joined Pakistan Air Force (PAF) in 1952. Nobody knew this boy will serve his country and got a memorial space in the hearts of people forever. Nobody knew M M Alam will become the pride of Pakistan Air Force and will be knows as Little Dragon.

Air Force Career of M M Alam

M M Alam joined PAF in 1952 and got commission on 2nd October 1953. He was a fighter pilot, North American F-86 Sabre Flying ace and single star general serving Pakistan Air Force. Ultimately he was promoted to Air Commodore and Squadron Leader and became the hero of 1965 War with India. Mostly people know the great personality Muhammad Mahmood Alam with the reference of 1965 War. He was awarded the Sitara-e-Jurat for his remember able actions during the Pakistan-India War 1965.

M M Alam and 1965 Pakistan-Indian War

Every Pakistani knows the pride of Pakistan Airforce M M Alam with the reference of Pakistan-Indian War 1965. On 6th September 1965 India attacked the Pakistan on Wahga Border Lahore. Pakistan Army defended the border and Pakistan Air Force moved to give a cover to Pakistan Army. 7th September is known as the Pakistan Air Force Day. In those days M M Alam was posted on Sargodha Air Base. He defended an air attack on 7th September 1965 when 6 fighter aircraft attacked the base. M M Alam downed five Indian aircrafts in less than a minute and established a world record. Muhammad Mahmood Alam was involved various missions during the 1965 War flying his F-86 Sabre Fighter aircraft and fired down 9 Indian fighter aircrafts. Significant successes of M M Alam make him the hero of 1965 War and stand him as the pride of Pakistan Air Force and Little Dragon.

Death of M M Alam
Great personality of the time, pride of Pakistan Air Force, Little Dragon, Hero of 1965 War, Pakistani falcon Muhammad Mahmood Alam was died on 18 March 2013 in the age of 77 years after fighting a disease for 18 months.
